At the start of this scorching summer, we have installed an outdoor PRM dry toilet cubicle in Tuchan.
Delivery and installation of a
outdoor dry toilet for PMR
(for people with reduced mobility) were carried out by us for the Association des Amis de Notre Dame de Faste.
In the warm sunshine, we once again appreciated the speed with which we were able to assemble our cabin. Thirty minutes after our arrival on the scene, the cabin was installed and ready for use.
Our Lécobox PMR cabin in Douglas fir was set up on the site of the magnificent Faste chapel, accessible by a pretty trail a few kilometers long.
The origins of Notre-Dame-de-Faste can be traced back to a legend: during a storm, sailors in distress were saved by the appearance of a light on the mountain! This place of worship is said to have been erected at the site of the miracle, following the wish of the sailors. This isolated chapel is currently being restored.
Lost in the garrigue, our dry toilet has found a lovely spot in this little paradise.
The dry toilet will be used for the few summer concerts organized by the association on the Faste chapel site.
Many thanks to the members of the association for their warm welcome and the refreshing snack at the end of the site, as well as for allowing us to discover this magnificent place.
