The Maison Émile Feuillette is home to the Centre National de la Construction Paille (CNCP).
The European UP STRAW Interregprogram (straw construction development program for North-West Europe) enables this structure to work and exchange at European level. On a smaller scale, it implements actions to bring the
CNCP-Feuillette
: office rentals, tours of the Maison Feuillette, training program for 2019.
A program for the overall enhancement of the site has been drawn up to create “bridges” between our various actions.
- 1st phase: hangar renovation
- 2nd phase: purchase of the plot of land destined for the future European Centre for Straw Construction
- Phase 3: construction of the exemplary straw-bearing European Center building.
Europe and the Centre-Val de Loire Region are supporting this development, but to supplement this funding the CNCP is launching a crowdfunding campaign, in which Lécopot has taken part. In 2015 we offered one of our dry toilet models: the corner butterfly.
